After consistent recent performances, Mehedi Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Kamrul Islam Rabbi and Mosaddek Hossain bagged their first contract with Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). BCB left out Nasir Hossain, Arafat Sunny and Al-Amin-Hossain of the central contract while Rubel Hossain has been re-included. Recently, the BCB increased the cricketer’s salary after the seniors urged that they get paid less than what players of Zimbabwe and Ireland do. The players included in the list of those centrally contracted will now receive the revised salary. BCB have included only one player in the Grade A list while four players have been listed under Grade A+, which is the highest rank in the list.
