As Australia lifted ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 following their 7-wicket victory over New Zealand at the final at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Michael Clarke bowed out of One-Day Internationals (ODIs). Of men who had bowed out following a World Cup cricket final, Imran Khan and Rohan Kanhai are the others to score fifties. The record still remains with Bruce Laird (91 against Pakistan, 1982-83), but Clarke has finished on par with Trevor Laughlin (74 against England, 1979-80).
