Mickey Arthur, Ray Jennings in the race to become Sri Lanka coach

Currently Marvan Atapattu is the interim coach of Sri Lanka.

Mickey Arthur and Ray Jennings have reportedly applied to become the coach of Sri Lanka’s national cricket team, according to reports. Currently, Marvan Atapattu is the interim coach of Sri Lanka, taking the position after Paul Farbrace quit.

“Marvan has still not applied for the post. Normally when a post is advertised you are supposed to apply, but Marvan has already done that earlier and because he is already in the system he may not have applied. Some have applied to become head coach and others as consultant. We have to sort them out by next week,”, SLC CEO Ashley de Silva was quoted as saying by NDTV Sports.
