Mishra's final flourish helps Pune beat Kochi by 4 wickets

Mohnish Mishra provided the final flourish with an unbeaten 21-ball 37 to helps Pune Warriors India defeat Kochi Tuskers Kerala by 4 wickets.


Wayne Parnell was run out for 1 after Muttiah Muralitharan had nipped out a rampaging Robin Uthappa for a 13-ball 31.


Brad Hodge took two quick wickets to enable Kochi bounce back in the match after Pune openers got off to a brisk start.


Hodge had Pune Warriors captain Yuvraj caught behind for 8. Hodge in his first over dislodged Mithun Manhas for 12.


Ravindra Jadeja earlier gave Kochi Tuskers Kerala a crucial breakthrough when he showed the pavilion way to Graeme Smith for 24.


This was after Vinay Kumar got rid of Jesse Ryder for a 10-ball 17.


Pune Warriors India fought back with wickets in quick succession after Brad Hodge and Ravindra Jadeja raised a 87–run stand for the fifth wicket to bail Kochi out of trouble after an early slump. 


Brief Scores: KTK 148 for 8 in 20 overs (Ravindra Jadeja 46, Brad Hodge 39; Wayne Parnell 3 for 35, Alfonso Thomas 1 for 31) lost to PWI 151 for 6 in 18.5 overs (Mohnish Mishra 37*, Robin Uthappa 31: Brad Hodge 2 for 14, Vinay Kumar 1 for 10, Ravindra Jadeja 1 for 4, Muttiah Muralitharan 1 for 26) by 4 wickets.
