He was also awarded with the best best Test match bowler of the year. In the Ashes series 2013-14, he took 37 wickets at an average of just 13.97 to help Australia whitewash England 5-0. He also was in great form against South Africa. Johnson’s performance was the reason behind Australia winning the series against then ranked No 1 Test team, South Africa.It has to be said that it has been a great comeback for Johnson as he had found himself in the wilderness for a longtime.
