Mitchell Starc ruled out of Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2015 with knee strain

According to News.com.au, Cricket Australia want their premier fast bowler Starc in good shape before the commencement of the Ashes and the preceding tour of West Indies. Starc was the top performer for Australia and he bowled very well in the tournament. His spell of 6/28 against New Zealand was one of the best spells in the mega event. He was before accused of being a 'soft' bowler by Shane Warne but he was very aggressive and swung the ball at pace. Starc, who was named the ICC's best one-day bowler following a stellar World Cup performance, will join the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) midway through the IPL 2015 tournament. His injury comes as a hindrance to RCB who have taken a good battery of pacers going in into IPL.
