Moeen Ali was booed by the crowd during the only T20 International (T20I) against England at Edgbaston. Ali was dismissed for a second ball duck, but managed to pick up the wicket of Ajinkya Rahane. The England all-rounder has had a wonderful Test series and picked up several wickets to help the hosts win the five-match Test series 3-1.

Earlier, England won the toss and chose to bat first. Jason Roy made his debut for England. For India, Ambati Rayudu and Karn Sharma made their T20 International debuts. The captains, MS Dhoni and Eoin Morgan are playing their respective 50th T20 Internationals. Morgan has played a few for Ireland though. Dhoni has played 49 of those as captain. Morgan celebrated the occasion with a brilliant 71 run off 31 balls. That innings helped take England to 180 runs. England smashed 81 runs off the last 10 overs.
