Controversial Pakistan bowler Mohammad Amer has got married to a London-based woman. The left-arm seamer, who was regarded as one of the brightest fast-bowling prospects in recent times, found himself in the eye of the spot-fixing scandal that all but claimed the careers of Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt.

Aamer, who was banned for five years following the spot-fixing scandal, has recently got back to playing some level of competitive cricket. While it is unlikely that he will make a comeback in time for the ICC World Cup 2015, he is likely to be eligible for selection sooner rather than later.
