Mohammad Azharuddin biopic ‘Azhar’: New poster released

The Tony D'Souza directorial is scheduled to be released on May 13 this year.

A number of biopics on cricketers are scheduled for release this year, the most controversial being the one on Mohammad Azharuddin. After launching an interesting trailer earlier this month, the producers of the movie have now revealed an interesting new poster of the movie. Of all the captains India has ever had, Azharuddin is one of the most controversial who has seen extreme ups and downs throughout his career. Ever since the movie hit the shooting floors, it grabbed attention of both movie and cricket lovers and with the new poster, the interest has grown even more. Popular Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi will be seen playing the lead in the movie while Nargis Fakhri, Prachi Desai and Lara Dutta also play important roles in it. Earlier, Former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin has been in London where the unit of his upcoming biopic starring Emran Hashmi is busy shooting, and the cricketer is leaving no stone unturned from his end to make sure that everything is all right. Azharuddin, who played 99 Tests for India and is one of the country’s most favourite as well as a successful captain, has been rolling the pitch roller as well as providing crucial inputs to the film unit. The first look of the film was released earlier this year and there is absolutely no doubt that the Indian fans would be eagerly waiting for the release of this film.
