Mohammad Hafeez thanks PCB, Saqlain Mushtaq for helping him clear bowling test

An overjoyed Mohammad Hafeez took to social media to take the review committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and former Pakistan off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq for helping him clear the bowling test conducted by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Due to this clearance, Hafeez can now bowl in the third and final One-Day International (ODI) against Bangladesh on Wednesday. Pakistan already trail the three-match series 2-0. Hafeez while Thanking PCB and Saqlain also thanked his teammates and his family for the support they have given him in this tough time. Since ICC’s crackdown on suspicious actions many players including Hafeez’s teammate Saeed Ajmal was banned from bowling due to which he did not play in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Ajmal has been cleared to bowl in the series against Bangladesh but has not been as successful as he was before. Shahid Afridi rules out ODI comeback
Ajmal has resortd to using a more round-arm action and has not been effective. It will be interesting to see if Hafeez too resorts to using round-arm to make sure that his arm is bent in the way prescribed by the ICC. Waqar Younis: Pakistan should change their defensive style of play
