Mohit Sharma is set to get married, revealed Kings XI Punjab owner Preity Zinta during the auction of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 at Bengaluru on Saturday. Kings XI Punjab bagged Mohit for a price of Rs. 6.5 crore. The other franchise who bid for Mohit was Kolkata Knight Riders. Shane Watson has been the most expensive player so far in the auction. Royal Challengers Bangalore bagged Watson for Rs. 9.5 crore. It is only Watson’s second franchise who had represented only Rajasthan Royals in IPL in all the previous eight editions. The other players picked by Bangalore were Travis Head and Waston’s Royals’ teammate and all-rounder Stuart Binny.
The other Indian cricketers who got married this year were Varun Aaron and Irfan Pathan. The latter tied knot with the 21-year-old Safa Baig in Mecca on Saturday. Meanwhile, India’s star cricketer Ravindra Jadeja got engaged on Friday to city-based mechanical engineer Riva Solanki.
