A 16-member team of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) would undertake a 22-day tour of Sri Lanka from Saturday, September 16, 2011.
The team would play eight matches with different teams of Sri Lanka, MPCA secretary Narendra Menon said here today.
They will play four-day, 50-overs and T20 matches between September 19 and October 10, he said.
Last year, MPCA sent its team to Australia.
Such visits boost the morale of players and prepare them to perform well in the Ranji Trophy and other domestic tournaments, Menon said.
