MS Dhoni, co-owner of Chennaiyin FC, expressed his delight over his team’s win against Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League 2014 on Tuesday. Chennaiyin FC thrashed Mumbai City FC 5-1 after their Brazilian midfielder scored a couple of goals. Colombian striker Stiven Mendoz netted two goals for Chennaiyin as well as well.

Dhoni was delighted at his team’s stellar showing. For the side from Mumbai it was Syed Rahim Nabi who scored their only goal. Other than Dhoni, cricketers such as Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and teammate Virat Kohli are co-owners of their respective teams. The ISL is the first football league of its kind in India.
