Cricket Association of Bihar’s (CAB) lawyer, Harish Salve on Friday said that Indian skipper, MS Dhoni didn’t have to lie about Gurunath Meiyappan’s role with Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

IBN Live Tweeted Harish Salve as saying,  “Dhoni lied about Guru Meiyappan role, there was no need for Dhoni to lie.”

Earlier, Salve had taken to Twitter to say that it was perhaps an error of judgment on Dhoni’s part to take a job with Indian Cements.  The Supreme Court of India has ordered N Srinivasan to resign from his post of being Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) president due to spot-fixing allegations that has engulfed Indian cricket in recent times.
