India’s former President and an inspiration to the nation, the late APJ Abdul Kalam, has been remembered and reminisced in many forms. MS Dhoni, India’s limited-overs captain, has posted meaningful quotes of the ‘People’s President’ on Facebook. Kalam had travelled to Shillong to participate in a discussion at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), where he collapsed, and was taken to the hospital brought dead. Many former Indian cricketers, and the entire nation, has expressed mourning at the passing away of the great man, who served as the head of the State from 2002 to 2007 but more importantly, provided a direction to the nation’s youth to those who paid attention.
