India skipper MS Dhoni is set to become the first captain to lead in 200 international matches when he takes field in the final against Bangladesh in Asia Cup T20 2016. Dhoni has lead the team in 30 Tests, 123 One-Day Internationals (ODI) and 46 T20 Internationals (T20I) till now. The final against Bangladesh will be his 47th and 200th international match. He has won 6 Tests, 64 ODIs and 28 T20Is as captain in his career so far. If India manages to win this Dhoni would have won 99 away international matches away from home. Dhoni had became the first international skipper to hit 200 sixes. Dhoni has achieved this feat in 315 innings. Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting is second in the list for cricketers hitting most international sixes as the team’s captain. Ponting had hit 171 sixes in 376 innings. Dhoni scored an unbeaten seven in match against Sri Lanka, which included a six and thereby achieved the milestone. If we look at the overall sixes hit by Dhoni in his international career, we arrive at a staggering number of 298 sixes. He has struck 78 sixes in Tests, 192 in ODIs and 28 in T20Is.
