Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni along with his wife Sakshi reached home on Friday, and is likely to watch some matches of the Euro 2012 football tournament, which kicked off in Poland and Ukraine.

After a long Indian Premier League tourney followed by a stint with the Indian Army, they flew down to Ranchi to join their family.

“He loves to watch World Cup and European Cup, and I think he will not like to miss some of the matches in the Euro 2012,” Suraj Mohan, a close friend of Dhoni, said.

It was one of his coaches who had influenced Dhoni to give up football and don wicketkeeping gloves during his school days.

An avid football lover, Dhoni had reportedly said he would be with his family for about a week. (PTI)
