India cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni donned the role of Honorary Lieutenant Colonel as he visited the Officer’s Training Academy (OTA) clad in the olive green combat uniform of the Army.

 

Dhoni, who along with Olympic gold-medallist shooter Abhinav Bindra was conferred the rank of honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army last year, addressed the officers and cadets who are undergoing training at the military academy.

 

Addressing the gathering, Dhoni, the captain of the IPL team Chennai Super Kings, congratulated the officers, staff and cadets on their golden jubilee celebration of the academy.
