Mahendra Singh Dhoni‘s biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ will release on October 22, 2015. Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput will be playing the role of the widely admired Indian captain.
According to reports in few entertainment industry-based websites, the biopic on India’s most successful captain across formats will be releasing later this year. In December 2014, the first look of Sushant Singh Rajput as the Indian captain was revealed, if a post on the Indian skipper’s fan club [msdhonifc] on social-networking platform Instagram is to be believed. The Bollywood actor is seen wearing long hair, much like Dhoni had until 2007.

According to the Bollywood actor, the main reason to take up the challenge of portraying MS Dhoni on big screen was because of the fact that he himself has been a huge cricket fan since his childhood. Sushant Singh Rajput informed that he and his sister have been national-level cricketers at one point, and he was thinking of taking up the sport on a full-time basis.
