Mumbai include Rohit Sharma in squad for Ranji Trophy
Rohit Sharma, who was out of action after breaking his finger in England in the first one-dayer in early September, has been included in Mumbai's Ranji Trophy opener against Railways to be played in New Delhi next month.

Rohit Sharma, who was out of action after breaking his finger in England in the first one-dayer in early September, has been included in Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy opener against Railways to be played in New Delhi next month.
“Rohit Sharma has been declared fit to play cricket again. He has been picked for Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy opener against Railways (Nov 3-6) and might even play in the third or fourth West Zone T20 tie at Rajkot though he is not a part of of the original team,” said Mumbai Cricket Association’s joint secretary Nitin Dalal.
Rohit, after a fruitful outing in the ODI series in the West Indies prior to his short-lived stint in England, would be eager to get back into the groove quickly as a busy international season ahead awaits India team.
Mumbai team would be led by Wasim Jaffer with veteran fast bowler Ajit Agarkar as his deputy. It will have only one new face in Nikhil Patil (Jr), who impressed in the off-season Buchi Babu tournament in Chennai. (PTI)
