IPL franchise Mumbai Indians (MI) have appointed former India bowling coach Paras Mhambrey in the same role as he rejoins the Mumbai-based franchise where he previously spent 4 years as part of their support staff.

The 5-time IPL champions will now be having 2 bowling coaches at the helm as Mhambrey is set to partner with Lasith Malinga.

“Mumbai Indians, today, announced the return and appointment of Paras Mhambrey as Bowling Coach, who will work along with current Bowling Coach Lasith Malinga, as part of the coaching team under Head Coach, Mahela Jayawardene,” Mumbai Indians said in a statement

Mhambrey comes as MI’s second big appointment ahead of the 2025 IPL season. Recently, they also welcomed back Jayawardene as their head coach replacing Mark Boucher.
