Mumbai Indians confirm Colin Munro as replacement for Aaron Finch in IPL 2015

Wellington: New Zealand batsman Colin Munro has earned a late call-up to the Mumbai Indians‘ (MI) IPL 2015 campaign in order to replace injured explosive Australian batsman Aaron Finch. Finch was ruled out from the tournament after he contracted a hamstring injury during the Mumbai Indians match against Rajasthan Royals (RR). It was subsequently declared that he is ruled out of cricket action for at least 12 months. Finch to be sidelined for 12 weeks after injury during IPL 2015

Munro chances’ of securing a place in the lucrative T20 league received a major boost from the misfortune of compatriot Corey Anderson, who has reportedly suffered a fractured finger, Stuff.co.nz reported. Munro, the Auckland batsman, will be hoping to continue his impressive domestic form displayed earlier this year.
