Abhishek Nayyar and Balwinder Sandhu chipped in with a wicket apiece. Live Updates: Mumbai vs Saurashtra, Ranji Trophy 2015-16 Final, Day2 at Pune
Saurashtra struggled in the early stages, losing wickets at regular intervals. They were reduced to 108 for 7, before the pair of Vasavada and Mankad came together. The duo batted sensibly and put on 84, before Vasavada was dismissed off the final delivery of the day. Mankad will now hope to get as many runs as possible on Day Two, but Mumbai will look to bundle Saurashtra out for under 200.
Mumbai have won the Ranji Trophy 40 times, whereas Saurashtra are yet to win one. Last time Saurashtra played in the final was in the 2010-11 season, where they lost to Rajasthan. With the kind of start they have made in this match, it seems like they will struggle to win this one too.
