Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier finished on a score of 185 for five at the end of 20 overs, with skipper David Warner top-scoring for his side with a knock of 81 off 52 deliveries. Warner brought up his sixth half-century of the tournament, winning back the Orange Cap from Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) Ajinkya Rahane as well as completing 1,000 runs for SRH. SRH earlier won the toss and elected to bat. While KXIP opted to keep their playing eleven unchanged from their previous game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), SRH decided to make three changes, getting Trent Boult, KL Rahul and Bipul Sharma in place of Ravi Bopara, Praveen Kumar and Parvez Rasool. While SRH aim to keep their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs alive with a win, KXIP will be happy to settle for a consolation victory after being eliminated from the ongoing tournament with nine defeats from 11 games.
