N Srinivasan has filed his nomination from the South Zone for the post of BCCI President. He is set to be elected unopposed as the President in the BCCI Annual General Meeting that is going to take place in Chennai on September 29.
Times Now reported about Srinivasan’s nomination as the BCCI President. If he is elected that will be his third term as the BCCI president.
Three BCCI vice-presidents Arun Jaitley, Niranjan Shah and Sudhir Dabar refused to seek extension for another year.
Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB) had filed a plea to prevent Srinivasan to stand in the elections as the BCCI president.

According to the sources, Srinivasan is believed to have got the support from six associations: Tamil Nadu, Goa, Kerala, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
