A situation like that of flood has hit several parts of Gujarat due to heavy rains. After Vishwamitri river overflowed from its banks and the water entered residential areas, the city had to face problems with flooding on a lot of low-lying areas, Indian cricketer Radha Yadav posted a video on her Instagram story where she described how she was saved from a ‘very bad situation’ by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). In the video, officials can be seen transporting people on a boat.

“We are Stuck in a Very bad situation. Thank you so much #NDRF for rescuing us,” Radha captioned on her Instagram Story.

Thin incident comes almost a week before the Indian women will play against New Zealand in the Women’s T20 World Cup opener.

Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan also sent out a tweet earlier, suggesting people living in Baroda to stay safe and Indoors.

“Stay safe, Baroda. Flooding is widespread, so please stay indoors for your own safety,” Pathan wrote.
