Nawroz Mangal dismissed for just four off 28 deliveries caught by Joe Root at first slip off the bowling of James Anderson against England in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, Pol A match 38 at Sydney. Javed Ahmadi soon followed him for just seven and fell in a similar fashio, but the wicket this time went to Stuart Broad. Mangal and Ahmadi got Afghanistan off to a slow start, but the pressure of too many dot balls finally got to Mangal, who flashed hard at the ball and it was well taken by Root positioned at first slip over his head. England will be delighted with this start after both opening bowlers James Anderson and Stuart Broad were bowling very well. Afghanistan will hope that they don’t lose another wicket quickly and hope that Nasir Jamal and wicket keeperAfsar Zazai get them to a good position. England must not let the opposition get away and try to get wickets at regular intervals. LIVE SCORECARD: England vs Afghanistan
England had earlier won the toss and elected to bowl first. This is the last match for both England and Afghanistan in this World Cup as both teams have been eliminated. The result of this match therefore becomes irrelevant in the context of the tournament, but none of the teams will want to lose. England have made tow changes to their side with Ravi Bopara and James Tredwell coming into the side in place of Moeen Ali and Chris Woakes. LIVE STREAMING: England vs Afghanistan
