The 25th game of the ICC World Cricket League Championship between Nepal and Netherlands saw the former team being dismantled for a mere score of 94. Nepal had a torrid time out in the middle as none of their batsmen managed to play a tenacious innings and bail the team out of crisis. Nepal were bundled out for 94 in 38.1 overs with Timm van der Gugten picked three wickets as well as Michael Rippon. They broke the spine of Nepal by chipping key wickets are crucial moments. Gyanendra Malla and Anil Mandal started off pretty well and made batting look easy but didn’t manage to hold their grounds for long.  Timm van der Gugten scalped the first wicket in the form of Malla with a beauty of a delivery, which dismantled the timber. Wickets kept felling since then as Nepal struggled to find a partnership. The top-scorer in their side was Mandal who scored a mere 20 as wickets kept tumbling at the other end. Roelof van der Merwe inflicted some serious damage with two wickets in the same over. He first got rid of Mandal and then Nepal skipper Paras Khadka was caught leg before on the very first delivery he faced.

Just when things started looking good for Nepal, their opponent shattered every hope with regular wickets. Eventually, they managed to post 94 in 38.1overs. Nepal will have to put a miraculous bowling performance in order to contain Netherlands under 94.
