Hello and Welcome to CricketCountry’s coverage of Math 26 of the ICC World Cricket League Championship between Nepal and Netherlands at Amstelveen. The last time these two teams met, Nepal suffered a seven-wicket loss after they were bowled out for just 94. Nepal were crushed with 199 balls to spare. They will hope to put up a better performance in this match and hopefully come out with a win. Nepal are currently placed in the sixth position out of the eight teams, just above Namibia and United Arab Emirates (UAE). Netherlands happen to be the only unbeaten side in the tournament. This is the fourth division of the cricket league, where the winner of the tournament will progress to the next level. Total of eight teams are participating in this 50-over contest, which include Netherlands, Scotland, Kenya to name a few.
Paras Khadka, one of Nepal’s best players is the captain of the side and he will be entrusted to lead Nepal to a good position. Netherlands on the other hand will be led by Peter Borren, who has been the captain for some time now. Both teams are certainly not short of talent and will be going all guns blazing in order to win this match.
