New Zealand opening batsman, Brendon McCullum was dismissed for f117 by Jeevan Mendis after being caught by him against Sri Lanka in the second of the seven-match ODI series at Seddon Park in Hamilton on Thursday. Currently New Zealand are 165 for the loss of three wickets with Ross Taylor batting on 25 as Daniel Vettori makes his way in.

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first as they look to to extend their home domination over Sri Lanka in this seven-match series. A win here for New Zealand would surely put them on the driver’s seat while Sri Lanka would look to win this one and bring back the series on level terms earning them a right to stay in the competition and fight for the series before the ICC World Cup 2015 gets underway from February.
