New Zealand vs Sri lanka 2014-15: Kane Williamson scores his maiden double hundred

His previous best score was 192 which he scored against Pakistan in November this year at Sharjah.

New Zealand batsman, Kane Williamson scored his maiden double hundred against Sri Lanka in the second and final Test at Basin Reserve in Wellington on Tuesday. His double hundred came off 394 deliveries including 13 boundaries with a strike rate of 51.00.

His previous best score was 192 which he scored against Pakistan in November this year at Sharjah. Currently, he is batting with his partner, BJ Watling who is batting on 123 while New Zealand are 464 for the loss of five in the second innings with a lead of 329 runs. Both have also put up a massive partnership of 305 runs for the sixth wicket, the highest by Kiwis against Sri Lanka.
