West Indies’ wicketkeeper-batter Nicholas Pooran moved up in the list of most sixes in T20I cricket. Nicholas hit seven sixes in his 65-run play from 26 balls in the first match of the 3-T20I series against South Africa. Pooran went above England captain Jos Buttler and India’s captain Suyakumar Yadav.
Pooran has a total of 139 sixes from 88 innings. Former Indian T20I skipper Rohit Sharma is the top position holder with 205 sixes on his name in 151 innings. He is closely followed by New Zealand opener Martin Guptill with 173 sixes on his name in 114 innings. Suryakumar is the holder for the fifth spot with 136 sixes from only 68 innings.
