North and South Zone women teams won their respective matches to gain five points, including a bonus point, in their first league tie in the inter zonal seniors one-day limited overs cricket tournament on Thursday.
In a truncated match that was reduced to 41 overs after being started 90 minutes behind schedule, West zone were skittled out for 61 runs in 35.4 overs after electing to bat.
South then made 65 for six in 30.2 overs.
East, winning the toss, were 89 all out in 42.3 overs and North won by three wickets making 90 for seven in 40.1 overs.(PTI)
