‘Not play any unnecessary shots…’: Ravi Bishnoi opens up on his Partnership with Tilak Varma in 2nd T20I against England
Ravi Bishnoi had scored an unbeaten partnership of 20 runs with Tilak Varma which secured India's victory over England in 2nd t20i. Ravi later even praised ilak, saying that he consistently performs well.

The Indian team had a great start when facing England in the 2nd T20I in Chennai. The Men in Blue needed 188 runs to win, but because of some strong bowling , the openers got dismissed quickly.
Tilak Varma was the player who kept the pressure on England team in the powerplay. However, when India was dropped to 78/5, the team needed some serious partnership.
Before the matched turned, Tilak received assistance from Washington Sundar ,and they managed to put the hosts back in the lead. At one point in the match, danger of losing the match was hovering over Indian team. However, it was because Tilak making a partnership with Ravi Bishnoi and Washington Sundar who helped the team to win.
Ravi Bishnoi scored an unbeaten 20-run partnership with Tilak Varma, helping the team win. he even lauded Tilak for the way he batted, stating that he is consistently performing well.
“My job was to give him (Tilak) strike and not play any unnecessary shots. Today I posted a reel on Instagram – “Why should batters have all the fun?” When the slip came in, I knew they were trying to dismiss me with leg-spin. I tried to go over covers but I got a lucky four. (On Tilak) One of the best innings in T20s,” said Ravi Bishnoi after the match.
“Wickets were falling, it wasn’t an easy wicket and if you look at their bowling attack, they had all the big names. He’s doing this from the last 2-3 months. He got two hundred in South Africa, he’s playing well in the domestic arena as well, we knew something big was coming. He’s doing really big now,” he added.

India won the match in Chennai because of a massive knock by Tilak Varma. India completed the chase of 166 runs with 2 wickets remaining. Tilak Varma, who kept his ground, and scored 72* off 55 was the highlight of the match.
