Sri Lanka, on Monday, named pacer Nuwan Pradeep as the replacement for their injured bowler Nuwan Kulasekara for the remainder of the One-Day International (ODI) series against India.

Pradeep will join the team after returning from Zimbabwe, where he was travelling with Sri Lankan A team for a tri-series.

Pradeep has played three Tests but is yet to play in a One-day international.

Pradeep had made his Test debut against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi in October 2011.

Kulasekara had strained his groin while attempting a catch in the first ODI against India on Saturday. He bowled only half of his quota of overs.
