Pakistan bowl out Hong Kong for lowest ever total in an ODI in Dubai
Hong Kong's score of 116 is now eight runs less of the previous lowest score in Dubai, set just a day ago, when Sri Lanka were shot down for 124 against Bangladesh in chase of 262 in the opening fixture of the tournament.

Hong Kong registered the lowest-ever total in an ODI played at the Dubai international stadium, when they were shot down for 116 runs in the second match of the 2018 Asia Cup against Pakistan on Sunday.
After opting to bat first, Hong Kong batsmen found the going it tough against one of the most potent attack in international cricket currently. Fast bowler Usman Khan claimed three for 19 while leg-spinner Shadab Khan returned two for 31 while Hasan Ali added two for 19.
For Hong Kong, allrounder Aizaz Khan top-scored with 27 and was involved in a 53-run stand with Kinchit Shah (26) for the fifth wicket. They were eventually bowled out in 37.1 overs.
Their score is now eight runs less of the previous lowest score in Dubai, set just a day ago, when Sri Lanka were shot down for 124 against Bangladesh in chase of 262 in the opening fixture of the tournament.
In Asia Cup ODIs, this is the joint-eighth lowest total. Hong Kong have previously been dismissed for 105 against Bangladesh in Colombo in 2004. The lowest total in Asia Cup, ODIs, remains Bangladesh’s 87 against Pakistan in 2000.
