Maldives get cricket equipment from Pakistan

Pakistan has donated cricket equipment to Maldives to promote the sport in the island nation.

At a ceremony held in Male, Jalil Abbas Jilani, the Pakistani foreign secretary presented the cricketing gear to the Maldivian Cricket Board in an expression of support to cricket in the Maldives.

The Pakistan foreign secretary had assured the country’s continued support to Maldivian citizens in fields of academics, training and sports, a Maldivian government release issued here said. (PTI)
