Pakistan spinner Yasir Shah rocked England in the 29th over of their ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 warm-up match as he dismissed Gary Ballance for 57, and soon got rid of the England captain Eoin Morgan for a duck. Morgan faced three balls but failed to score any run. This was not his first duck in 2015, and the England captain will want to change his form quickly. Ballance scored 57 runs off 81 balls and smashed four boundaries as his half-century was key for England in this final warm-up match. The left-handed batsman did not play in the triangular series in Australia earlier and this innings would certainly help him to make a statement. This was after England lost the wicket of Alex Hales for 31 from 47 balls as Pakistan got their second victim in the 11th warm-up match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Hales and No. 3 batsman Ballance were batting well after the early dismissal of Moeen Ali for just four. The duo added some useful runs, and got some much-needed match-practice ahead of the World Cup.
Hales was dismissed by Shahid Afridi, who had him caught by Sohaib Maqsood. Pakistan made a good start to the match with pace bowler Ehsan Adil getting rid of Moeen for four. Though Moeen got off the mark with a boundary, he was out getting a leading edge to covers while turning the ball toward mid-wicket as Younis Khan took the catch. Moeen was the man in form for England, and with Ian Bell missing out, England would have pinned their hopes on him to get them off to a good start.
