Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Tanvir and all-rounder Shoaib Malik reached a milestone during the second T20 International (T20I) against West Indies at Dubai. Tanvir became the fourth Pakistan bowler and 14th overall to pick up 50 T20I wickets. Malik on the other hand went past 1,500 T20I runs and he is the 10th player in the world and the 3rd Pakistan player to achieve this. Pakistan cruised to a 16-run win against West Indies in the second T20I and have therefore sealed the three-match series 2-o, with one more game to be played at Abu Dhabi on September 27. World T20 champions West Indies have nothing but pride to play for in the next match.

Pakistan seem to have putting in good performances under their new skipper Sarfraz Ahmed, who replaced Shahid Afridi after the team’s poor shows in the Asia Cup T20 and the T20 World Cup. Pakistan will now look to topple a strong side like West Indies in the third T20I as well and complete a 3-0 whitewash. Pakistan play three One-Day Internationals (ODI) and three Tests after theT20I series. They will then tour New Zealand and Australia after the current tour.
