Pakistan and Zimbabwe will clash in the third and final One-Day International (ODI) of the series at Harare in what promises to be a thoroughly competitive match after the drama that ensued in the second ODI where Zimbabwe scraped home by five runs on the Duckworth-Lewis Method. Zimbabwe displayed a nice all round show in the last game and that was a refreshing site for global fans of the game. Chamu Chibhabha‘s knock of 90 set the tone for how Zimbabwe was to contend with the ominous Yasir Shah and other spinners. Pakistan’s fightback after the original slump triggered by Tinashe Panyangara was headlined by Shoaib Malik though Aamer Yamin and Yasir made suitable cameo appearances. From a hopeless position Pakistan managed to take the match into the penultimate over with 21 runs to get and two wickets to contend with, however bad light stopped play denying Malik stranded on 96 of a potentially miracle match-winning hundred.
