The International Cricket Council (ICC) to day released its official statement regarding Zimbabwe‘s upcoming tour of Pakistan, saying that it won’t be able to appoint its official umpires and referees for the series, following the the security report from its security consultant. The ICC met in April and took a call on the playing conditions, which included the decision to appoint local match officials for the series by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as ICC won’t be sending its official citing security fears. However, despite these playing conditions, the series would still be considered official by the ICC, even if they won’t be totally played under strict ICC standards of playing conditions. READ: Zimbabwe tour of Pakistan is on, says PCB

The PCB are soon to announce their match officials for the series.
