The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is going to honour the Indian Armed Forces ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) in Dharamshala. In order to honour the bravery of India’s military, well-known si1nger and composer B Praak is going to perform live.
The IPL shared a post on their official X (formerly known as Twitter) account, stating that the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium is going to be filled with patriotism and notes as the evening will be filled with echoes of soulful melodies.

This tribute for the Indian Army is for their response to the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists on April 22. Indian military force launched an attack on nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) across the Line of Control (LOC) during the midnight of Wednesday, and this initiative was named ‘Operation Sindoor’.

For the IPL 2025 clash between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Eden Gardens, where the latter emerged victorious, the Indian national anthem was played before the match began. All the players and the rest of the staff stood together before the play commenced in order to pay respect.
