Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Zaka Ashraf was unaware of the recent developments which took place during the Marylebone Cricket Club’s (MCC) Cricket Committee’s recent meeting in South Africa.
MCC held a meeting in Cape Town, where the revival of international cricket in Pakistan came under discussion.
Ashraf, however, raised eyebrows after expressing ignorance on the development.
“It’s not in my knowledge,” Ashraf was quoted saying in Tribune.
Meanwhile, the chairman denied the fact that former Australian cricketer Dav Whatmore was coming to finalise terms for Pakistan’s coaching job.
“Whatmore is coming for an interview with the coach-hunt committee,” he said before reiterating that nothing was finalised on coach selection.
