ICC Cricket World Cup 2015-winning captain Michael Clarke has been spending quality time away from the field, teaching kids at his academy and spending time with his wife, Kyly in France. On Thursday, Clarke shared a picture of Kyly, with the caption, “My date for tonight.” Kyly and Michael are expecting their first child, which he revealed ahead of the England tour. Despite not being able to win the Ashes 2015, Clarke went out with head held high, after Australian won the final match comprehensively. Clarke retired from Test cricket following the end of Ashes 2015, having earlier retired from limited-overs after ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
In May, Kyly and Michael celebrated their third marriage anniversary. He posted a video of his marriage on his official Instagram account. The video was shot three years ago during his marriage with his wife, Kyly Clarke, in which it is seen Kyle riding on a horse, while Clarke directs the horse. It was Kyly Clarke and Shane Warne who were consulted on the evening of August 7, 2015, when Clarke decided that his time was up. Clarke, who remained one of those Australian cricketers who never won an Ashes series in England, saw his team going down in the fourth Test at Trent Bridge by an innings and 78 runs. Australia started off the day with three wickets in hand and 90 runs in deficit, but could not do much to prevent England from taking the Ashes Urn back. Clarke may have decided to retire after the end of this series, but he spoke to his team about this decision only when they reached the cricket field on the third day.
