Cricketers are often seen bonding with budding talents and passing on their pristine knowledge of the game. Nepalese leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane impressed Michael Clarke with his leg-spin and earlier invited the young cricketer to represent Sydney-based club Western Suburbs in Sydney s Premier Cricket competition. Clarke also threw an invite to Lamichhane to learn at Clarke s cricket academy in Sydney and it seems the stint has come to an end. He also went to the airport to receive him and posted an emotional video on his Instagram handle. On this occasion, Clarke was delighted to spend so much of time with Lamichhane and took to his Instagram handle to express his glee. He posted a picture of him and Lamichhane and wrote, “Been great spending time with Sandeep over the past few months. Loved this moment of us at the MCCA.”

Ealrier, Clarke told ESPNCricinfo about Lamichhane saying, I had recognised Sandeep s outstanding potential during his short stint as a player an mentor in Hong Kong earlier this year. Sandeep is a fantastic young man who enjoys his cricket and is extremely passionate about the game. It is a really exciting opportunity to have such a talented Nepalese cricketer travel this distance to come and test his skills and improve his game at my academy. I am looking forward to working with him and all the boys and girls that will attend the 5-day live in camp starting September 26th.
