Former Australia batsman Michael Hussey spent some time with the South African team at the nets ahead of the T20 warm up match against India A at Delhi. Hussey, who was one of the contenders to take over as coach of the Indian team has a decent amount of experience playing in Indian conditions during his stint with the Australian cricket team and also in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where he has played for Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Hussey also plays for the Perth Scrochers in the Big Bash League (BBL) in Australia. The reason as to why he is currently in India is still unknown. South Africa take on India A in the one-off T20 warm-up match in Palam near Delhi as a preparation for the T20 International (T20I) series, which is scheduled to be played from October 2 onward.
