Rohit Sharma was named the captain of India for the limited over series against Sri Lanka. He has responded to the call with two series wins. Virat Kohli‘s absence was only felt in the Dharamsala ODI that India lost but that’s fine, Rohit has always been a slow starter. Rohit has done well with this new responsibility, he won the both the series and has led the team from the front. He smashed a 208* in the second ODI at Mohali and 118 off 43 balls in the second T20I at Indore.

The surprising factor is that it was his wedding anniversary during the second ODI where he scored his double century and yesterday he slammed the joint-fasted T20I hundred, two days after his wife’s birthday. On both the occasions his wife Ritika Sajdeh was present on the venue. He calls her his lucky charm as he scored big on both occasions and let his team to victory.

Rohit knows how to present Ritika with moments.

There you go, my lucky charm
