Just yesterday, Harbhajan Singh, who is a part of the tour as well, had posted a picture of a tuk-tuk ride on the streets of Colombo which he had shared with Kohli and other teammate Stuart Binny. After losing the opening match at Galle, India had bounced back in style in Colombo, thereby equalizing the series 1-1 with third game still to be played. The previous game happened to be Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara final international match, who signed off from an incredible career with with 12,400 runs to his name. It was an emotional send off for the stylish batsman in front of his family and friends.

“Like any retiring cricketer, I had hoped for the fairytale finish — a final century and a series — winning victory for Sri Lanka. But, while disappointed with my performance and the team’s defeat, I have no regrets. India played the better cricket and were deserving winners. However, the last five days were very special and extremely emotional for me, especially the last day when even I could not hold back tears,” Sangakkara said after the match.
