The incident took place last evening and the complaint was filed today, they said. “After the match, Kumar went straight to the hotel but later realised that he had forgotten to collect the gold chain from the dressing room. He immediately informed the VCA officials about it. However, a search by them proved futile,” police said. VCA President Prakash Dixit confirmed the incident and said the police investigation is in progress.
