The 15-year old wonder-kid Prithvi Shaw made history by notching up first 500-plus score in school cricket for his school Rizvi Springfield against St Francis D’Assisi in Harris Shield at Azaad Maidan on Wednesday.

His memorable quintuple knock of 546 included 85 boundaries and 5 sixes. The previous record was held by Armaan Jaffer who had made 498 in Harris Shield. It turns out to be the highest score in any class of cricket after 628*made by  AEJ Collins in 1899 & 566 CJ Eady in 1901.

In fact, as per Times of India report, the batting prodigy has even played for Gloucestershire second team. He is already well known in Mumbai’s cricketing circles and may very well turn out to be the next big thing to come out of Mumbai’s cricket stables.
